The Destination Sri Lanka Food and Pharma Tech event being held on September 4-6, 2003, at Colombo focusses on Food & Pharma industry, which means target business visitors to the event. Business institutions and buyer-seller meets & get togethers is also being held.

Pharma-Tech would showcase plant and machinery for pharma production, infrastructure and accessories, packaging materials & machinery, laboratory equipment, instruments and laboratory ware, pharmaceutical ingredients & raw material, water treatment and waste management, biotechnology, hospital equipment, research & development and standards, quality control, environment & pollution control, process technology, automation and control.

Food technologies would showcase processing - technology & equipment, packaging - packaging material technology & equipment, measuring and regulating systems, analytics and hygiene, research and development marketing infrastructure, storage facilities, transport facilities, refrigeration and cooling technologies, beverage technologies, process and packaging technologies for water, soft drinks, fruit juices, alcoholic drinks, food ingredients, kitchen equipments, hotel & restaurant equipment.

Organised by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the organizer of the exhibition, has a unique infrastructure both at the Domestic and International levels. With a membership encompassing, directly and indirectly over 2,50,000 large, medium & small business units employing nearly 20 million people.
